Orange Garbage Disposal Tablets

Orange Garbage Disposal Tablets

This recipe is exactly the same as my Lemon Fresh Garbage Disposal Tablets Found HERE

I simply swapped out the lemons for Oranges & the EO for Orange EO. I will say I'm not as much of a fan of this recipe as the Lemon one. I have had quite a few people tell me they really like this smell so it can smell good, Just not to me hehe. I still wanted to share all the pictures I took.

I won't be including instructions as they can be found on the lemon fresh garbage disposal tablets link above, just simply replace the lemons and lemon EO with the orange.

I packaged these up in various Jars and actually gave them away along with the Lemon and a Grapefruit Scented Tablet. I think everyone is enjoying them. I will share a post on the packaging and labels i created for those gifts.

Merry Christmas!!!

Merry Christmas Everyone!!

Here is a small project I did quite a few weeks ago for my husbands grandparents. They were going to be down south celebrating Christmas out of their RV in the warm Arizona Weather! So i made a small banner and then gave them some battery powered lights and 2 sock snowman's for some Christmas cheer for their RV :-)

I used scrapbook pages, printed out the letters & cut them with my machine & then used washi tape to hold everything together.

Merry Christmas & Happy New Year!!

Looking forward to finally getting my projects posted. This holiday season for me was VERY busy!! Santa's Workshop was on overload! I love giving & this year was a wonderful year for me!!

Hope everyone got something they wished for :-)

Snowman Christmas/Winter Wreath

2 Weeks Till Christmas!!!

This a Tutorial of Sorts of the Flocked Fake Evergreen Snowman Wreath I made for Christmas. I found the Wreath and most of the decorations at Hobby Lobby, I then made the Snowman by hand ( Tutorial Here ). The snowflakes were all at Walmart & the Merry Christmas was a wooden sign I found at a local decoration shop that my hubby sawed in half for me. I also purchased a battery/timer string of lights in a "Cool/White" color. The wreath is 32" and BARELY fit on my door hehe.

I hand "flocked" the wreath and sprayed it with the "Snow" spray. You can find the "Snow" spray at any decor/hobby store. Here are the supplies i used to flock the wreath.

This is the picture of the wreath with JUST the "Snow" spray can on it:

I started by putting the "snow" spray on and letting it dry completely before "flocking" the branches.

To "flock" the wreath: Start by putting the white craft paint randomly on the tips of the wreath branches. You are trying to create the effect of the snow landing on the wreath like it naturally would & make it thick, thicker the better!!

WHILE the PAINT is WET!! Sprinkle the Glitter on liberally---most will fall off but you don't want too little glitter. I also added the blue and silver glitter for more color. But the transparent works perfect too!

The true "flocking" stuff is sold online mostly but it was quite spendy and you had to purchase A LOT of it! So i found this method way easier for me and i think it would be easier for anyone to find these supplies just about everywhere. Plus this method is a lot more sparkly than true flocking would be. ;-)
I LOVED how it turned out!!

I then just started putting the Wreath together, I had bought the evergreen piece with the pinecone has a big bunch in the floral dept of Hobby Lobby and just bent the huge wire piece around and wired on the rest. The Blue curly pieces came in a bunch and I took those apart and scattered them throughout for a balanced look.

I took the Large Silver Snowflake and Wired/Hot Glued the Heck out of it to the back of the wreath & attached the snowman to the center with a ton of hot glue. Don't burn your fingers!! :-)

I added the darker blue and silver snowflakes through out the wreath, I got those at Walmart & added the silver swirls that i had picked up from Hobby Lobby as well.

Overall im SOOOO excited about this wreath! I wish we had a Hobby Lobby in my town and I would have made a lot more and tried to possibly sell them! It was so much fun!!

Here is a Money Saving tip:
Try to find an old wreath at a garage sale or thrift store and over haul it into your favorite christmas decoration with your own custom theme!! Great way to save some money and recycle that old christmas decor!!

I wanted to add the Yarn Wreath my friend made as well. She got most of the decorations at Walgreens:

Merry Christmas Everyone!

Sock Snowman

I made a Christmas Wreath a couple weeks ago ( Tutorial Here ) & wanted a Snowman theme but could not find a snowman I wanted to add to the wreath that I liked. So of course, make one yourself!! So i found a couple tutorials for Sock Snowmans & LOVED this on. I didn't have any knee high white socks so I went to the dollar store and got 2 for $1 & then found a TON of patterned socks that would make the cutest Sock Family! So then my 1 sock snowman turned into a family haha. I was able to find the perfect blue to add to my wreath and got home and busted these out in a matter of 2 hours! My mom had A TON of buttons that I used to embellish them perfectly! I also used some scrap scrapbooking stuff too that i had laying around. I used toothpicks for the noses and painted them with kids washable paint that i had laying around. The white cord string i got on clearance at Walmart for .20!!! It was half a roll but I have used that stuff for more things than i can count!!

For the 2 small snowman's in the Family, I used my daughters old socks that I had lost the matches too.

This is the Snowman I made for my Wreath:

I babysat a girl this summer and had her for a school break and her and the neighbor family came over and we made this whole bunch of snowman's.

Mommy & Baby Monthly/Weekly Stickers

My Sister in law recently became preggers with their second baby & as a little gift I made her some Pregnancy Weekly Stickers that she can use to remember her baby bump as it grows. I have seen these all over the internet and wanted to make some that were a little more unique. She picked out the colors she wanted and really like this circle design.  I printed them off on my printer and then used my Silhouette to cut everything out for me. I highly recommend if you do this to use Staples Sticker Paper, its the more economical and works AWESOME!

I then got a little gift box that they fit perfectly into and "wrapped" them up.

I totally forgot to take a picture of this but I also added a few stickers that said, "Ultrasound Day","In Labor", "Its a Girl,", "Its A Boy" & "First Kick" I thought of a million others but didn't want to over do it haha.

My sister in law was attending a Baby Shower and asking if I could make her some Baby Monthly Stickers as well & of course I would LOVE to do that so I designed these Baby Monthly Stickers for her.

Then with my machine I made a custom box with some paper that coordinated. It was so easy and fun!! I can't wait to make more!!
